With summer coming to a close, I found the several "boat drink" flavored jellos on clearance and decided to give them a try.
1 pkg Margarita Jello (4 serving size) (apparently lime jello is the same thing)
1/4 cup plus 1 TBSP tequila
1 TBSP Nellie & Joe's Key Lime juice
1 cup thawed cool whip
Mix boiling water and stir into jello for about 2 minutes to make sure it is completely dissolved.
Add alcohol and lime juice. Mix
Stir in Cool Whip until completely melted and well blended.
As it cools, the two layers will separate, looking like a frosty margarita.
